Position: Director, Training, and Advocacy

Location: Mumbai
Key Objectives of the Job:
- Scale Arpan’s existing initiatives across the country, by working closely with local, state and central government.
- Work closely with both government and Arpan leadership team to design new initiatives that are impactful and can be run at large scale through both physical and digital means.
- Manage large internal and external teams to ensure high quality execution of programmes
Major Deliverables:
The major responsibilities are:
- Build long term alliances with relevant Govt, education bodies at state and national level, non govt agencies, and schools to mainstream child protection focusing on CSA
- Integrate Personal Safety Education (PSE) (Arpan’s school curriculum for children) in state curriculum across all states and UTs of India
- Manage training team to ensure effective high-quality delivery of programs
- Provide high quality leadership to large team to ensure Arpan continues to be a great place to work
Job Challenge:
- Creating measurable impactful programs that bridge both digital and traditional models of delivery
- Building a low attrition, high quality, motivated team, and providing direction and mentorship to large, young and diverse teams
Specialized job competencies:
- Experience of leading advocacy initiatives pan India.
- Track record of managing large teams
Educational Qualification:
Post-Graduation in Project Management, Sociology, Psychology, Child Development, Social work and other related fields
Desired Experience:
Having experience of project management for at least 15 years, advocacy with the govt and working with the government for 7-10 years.
Salary range:
20-25 lakhs CTC
(depending on qualification and years of experience)
