Position: Research Associate (Research and Knowledge)
Organization: Mobile Creches (MC)
Location: Delhi
Educational Qualifications- Masters/M. Phil/PhD from a reputed institution in social science discipline (in Early Childhood Education/Human Development/Education/Sociology/Gender/Development Studies/Demography).
Total work Experience in the relevant field- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with Research or Academic institution or any reputed NGO. Experience in research- quantitative and qualitative. Experience in field research and monitoring (field travel required).

Job Description- Responsibilities included and not limited to –
Research and Evidence building
• Contribute to Mobile Creches research and evidence building initiative through conceptualizing, designing, and conducting research surveys.
• Conducting review of literature and research documentation.
• Developing and reviewing questionnaire and other research tools.
• Orientation of field research team on tools and field processes.
• Monitoring data collection and communicate regularly with field research team.
• Set up data quality checks and quality assurance for quantitative and qualitative data collection
• Regular coordination and feedback to research partners to track and monitor the progress of survey and the results.
• Data entry and analysis support.
• Write analytical and summary report
Monitoring and Evaluation
• Support monitoring and evaluation of MC ongoing projects (Tracking and reviewing the project cycle, progress, and the outcomes achieved)
• Support MC’s impact assessment through Programme Assessment and Learning-MIS support
• Support in developing log frames, theory of change, and relevant impact evaluation (baseline and end line) tools.
Other
• Support in drafting knowledge pieces/articles for journals, book, policy briefs, media, etc.
• Support in organizing MC Conference/workshop/learning circles.
• Any other urgent work that may be assigned across different verticals of MC.
Key skills required-
• Sound knowledge of research methods, statistics, and design.
• Excellent analytical and interpretation skills including experience of using SPSS, Excel.
• Experience in developing and conducting surveys will be essential.
• Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to produce reports and other research outputs in English.
• Knowledge of electronic data collection and management software such as KOBO will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adequate experience of working with diverse team.
• Good organizational skills with experience of managing different tasks.
