Project Brief:
IIPHG NIDHI-TBI FOR PUBLIC HEALTH (IIPHG-NIDHI TBI), is set up under the National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI) with support of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
This project is for 5 years. One of the important activity to establish the TBI-PH includes identification of gaps in the existing domain of public health, where Technology can provide a viable solution. Addressing the solutions and linking technology to improve public health in India would require a new generation of developmental entrepreneurs who combine entrepreneurial zeal, technology and compassion along with business strategies to build a strong and sustainable organizations through values, skills and experience. In addition, TBI will help to
1. Identify young people with ideas to solve Public Health problems using technology via a national call of application.
2. Select the best candidates for incubation
3. Mentor and nurture selected candidates
4. Organize training and provide lab and entrepreneurial support
5. Help launch social or commercial enterprise
6. Help in patenting
Deliverables:
Anchoring the entire center of NIDHI TBI
Identification, execution, developing business plans
Assist in making the center self-sustainable
Assist in developing proposal for procuring matched grants and networking with other industries, academic institutions
Qualification: MBA (master’s in business administration) / MBE (Management in Business Economics) / Post Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent /Doctorate in Management/Any Other Post Graduation
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in preferably as entrepreneur/ leading incubation center
Annual Salary (CTC) will be based on the available skills and fitment of the incumbent as per the selection process. The salary will range between INR.20 to 24 Lakhs per annum
