KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
1. Provide planning and methodological expertise for monitoring and evaluation 

2. Development of robust standard operating procedures on FoR_Adivasis: Forest for Adivasi initiative

3. Developing a monitoring and evaluation plan 
- Helping determine performance and impact indicators and targets, to highlight empowerment and transformation of  tribal communities as well as forest conservation & protection 
4. Implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plan 
- Training field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and providing ongoing coaching 
5. Assist in developing an Information Management Systems that will contribute to institutional learning processes and track best  practices in monitoring and evaluation 

REQUIREMENTS 
 6. Sound knowledge of the Forest Rights Act, 2006 and its policies and procedures would be preferred

7. A Master’s degree (graduate/post-graduate) in Environmental Studies, Agricultural Sciences, Forest, Ecology, Social Work or  Social Entrepreneurship is preferred 

8. 3-5 years of experience working in the development sector or on environmental projects in rural Maharashtra

9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

10. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

Monthly renumeration:  Rs. 45,000
