Overview of the Role:

The person will be responsible to manage the end-to-end implementation of our Peer Teaching program in the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh with 25 Seva Kutirs, through working along with Kutir teachers (they are from the same community), to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students. This will include:

1. Implementation

• Create an action plan to implement our Peer Teaching program with the Kutir teachers 

• Coaching & coordination with teachers in respective Kutirs to ensure our program is implemented well

• Set up strong processes that enable smooth onboarding & daily management of students for the program

• Training of Teachers and Student leaders on pedagogy and taking regular workshops for them

2. Manage relationships

• Foster positive relationships with teachers, Parivaar team, and other stakeholders to get buy-in on change efforts required at the District level

• Coordinate with Central design team and communicate customised sessions and impact data with them

3. Documenting and reporting

• Lead efforts to document and report progress and gaps of students on a fortnightly and eventually on a monthly basis

• Adapt tools or surveys to evaluate, collect data and document stakeholder (parents, teachers, students) responses to intervention

• Analyze feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of program and implementation

You should have:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the education sector, 

• Education: An undergraduate degree in any stream is a must; a master’s degree is a plus

• Ready to travel extensively as the Kutirs are far from each other

• Skills: Should be a good planner and a go-getter; Should be good with on-ground work; Clear understanding of thoughts and great communication skills; Ability to manage and inspire people

• Excellent communication skills in order to navigate with the team in Chennai and Bangalore

• Should have a strong sense of data collection, data analysis, knowledge of statistics and be able to set structures for operational data

• Strong work Ethics: Punctuality, Sense of environment, self-driven; 

Interests: Passionate about education; enjoys mentoring and working with school kids.
