Scope of Position:
Key Responsibilities:
To lead and work in conjunction with the project implementation team at district level
·Establish and manage working relation with diverse set of stakeholders –including government departments and other stakeholders such as Jeevika, ATMA, Agriculture institutions and other departments/institutions working on Agriculture/ Livelihoods.
·Lead and manage the team at district level to ensure all deliverables of the project are met effectively within the desired timeline and with excellent quality.
·Provide guidance and supervise project implementation team.
·Take lead in conceptualizing consultations/workshops/ conferences as required in the project
·Lead, manage and motivate the team, creating an environment that enables staff to maximise their potential and facilitates high performing teams
·Furnish interim and final reports, case studies, notes, pictures and other updates on the project as required. S/he will also furnish details of financial utilisation and keep regular track of the spending.
·Produce high quality reports to be shared with the donors and other stakeholders
·MIS and reporting as per monitoring framework of the project.
·To conduct periodic review and planning meeting with project implementation team.
·To actively participate in and contribute to all team processes leading to programme development, management and effective functioning of the team s/he is part of.
·Produce high quality concept notes/proposals and design a project elaborating the budget.
·To contribute to the regional team goal by working effectively as a team player adopting collaborative & consultative ways of working
Skill and Competence:
Graduate in related discipline.
·Substantial knowledge and experience in the development field (at least 5-6 years)
·Experience in coordinating/ dialoguing with technical wing of district administration
·Good communications and presentation skills, both written and oral, in Hindi and local language
·Proactive and self-motivated individual capable of engaging persuasively with various stakeholders
·A self-starter, able to work independently
·Ability to travel extensively in the field
·Prioritize and meet deadlines
·Sensitivity to gender and diversity issues
·Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a team
