Role
- Lead, produce and develop video projects from start to finish, including creating storyboards, co-developing scripts, filming, editing, compiling, developing visual/audio assets, incorporating animations/motion design, and all other aspects of production for EPIC India videos. Work closely with external vendors to deliver outsourced productions like event wrap-up videos, high-value documentaries, etc.
- Spearhead condensing research findings into understandable multimedia outputs, including designing graphics and visualizations, presentations, and publications.
- Conceptualize high-quality, engaging, original designs, including posters, GIFs, animations, multimedia creatives for social media, and other project-based communication campaigns such as AQLI, Star Rating, and ETS outreach.
- Ideate and deliver the design of in-house print and online brochures, project briefs, toolkits, reports, research summaries, marketing materials for events, etc. and coordinate with printer and other suppliers for on-time delivery of the branding materials
- Create and maintain a photo-video repository for EPIC India’s visual storytelling efforts and support the distribution of photos for internal and external needs. Maintain online video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
- Support with photography and videography during events and for communications materials.
- Responsible for maintaining the library of all EPIC India marketing materials
- Perform or assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in graphic design and digital communications and preferably have a bachelor’s degree in design, video editing, communications, or a related degree with relevant experience.
- A minimum of seven-eight years of experience designing and producing creative content and developing digital media products, with a proven ability to present research findings in a creative, clear, and concise way.
- Strong creative skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Premiere, or similar video editing software is compulsory.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based communication methods and tools such as MailChimp and web content management systems required.
- Four to five years of experience creating short videos translating complex content into digestible information for social media outreach is compulsory.
- Additional experience of filmmaking, including short films, documentaries, etc. will be an asset
- Experience in running promotion campaigns across different channels. Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook for business, Twitter, Email marketing & LinkedIn advertising will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of the Hindi language is an asset.
