Job Description Role and Responsibilities:
- Making technology work for small holder farmers is the primary function of this team, the individual joining this team should be self-driven towards creating impact.
- Should have 7 to 10 years of experience in product management and/or platform development.
- Should be able to lead and deliver projects in a fast paced, results driven environment.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and software configuration management tools.
- A good eye for detail, with a flair for high quality UI and UX to drive best practices in product development is a must.
- A person with hands-on technical capabilities and coding experience is a plus, he/she should be able to participate and contribute to architectural design and decision making.
- Should have worked in roles that define strategy and on innovative new initiatives in their previous organizations.
- Should understand the role of digital transformation in a companys journey.
- A seasoned professional who can drive conversations with multiple organizations in the Agri eco-system.
- The candidate should demonstrate high bias-for-action and should drive outcomes that matter to the function and to the entire organization.
- A keen listener and has a pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Having a good understanding of FPOs and their eco-system is a plus.
- Should follow latest trends in the AgriTech space.
- An individual who follows technological advancements closely and thinks of new and innovative use cases that such technology can solve.
- Should manage delivery of solutions to key internal and external stakeholders.
- It is a plus if the candidate has prior experience of key accounts & relationship management.
- People management skills with great leadership abilities is desired. It is expected that the individual will groom and develop multiple junior resources into future leaders.
- Should be willing to travel to different FPOs across the country to learn about their requirements and to deliver solutions in person wherever applicable.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Overall 7+ years of work experience in Technology functions (within Agri sector is a plus).
