JOB DESCRIPTION:
ACCESS is inviting applications from young, energetic and self-driven professionals for the above position. The position holder shall be supporting the Team Leader/Project Manager, with primary responsibility of carrying out the interventions as per budget and timeline, oversee achievement of targets and impact indicators and guide the team on
a day-to-day basis in the assigned project clusters with support from our field functionaries.
Reporting: The incumbent shall report to the Project Manager/Team Leader
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meeting the project deliverables/results as per the result matrix.
2. Planning and executing the programme along with monitoring.
3. Business management and Business development of producer companies
4. Developing and implementation of maize value chain business plan ,carry out market analysis, trader
identification and produce disposal.
5. Facilitating access to technology to address critical gaps in production, post-harvest and processing, value
addition and marketing.
6. Facilitating partnerships development/linkages/convergence with key knowledge/technology institutions,private firms, marketing institutions/traders & Govt. departments/institutions.
7. Inputs and outputs market tie–ups and ensure timely supply of inputsto the farmers and aggregation of produce for collective sale.
8. Liaison and networking with District Administration, line depts. and other stakeholders for leveraging govt. schemes/programmes, infrastructure etc.
9. Creating an environment of inclusiveness for the maize farmers.
10. Ensure that all the programme activities must complete on time.
11. Coordinate with Team Leader and the team for planning and execution of planned activities.
12. Ensure timely reporting
13. Ensure all regulatory compliances are met as per requirement.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
1. 2-3 years of experience preferable. However, there is no bar for freshers with the fire to work for the
communities and with a go-getter attitude.
2. Work experience in maize value chain & FPOs shall be given preference.
3. A person with result orientation and self-starter with clarity of thought will be preferred.
4. Thorough understanding of value chain of production, processing, storage and distribution with emphasis on market oriented production systems.
5. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Odiya speaking would be preferred.
COMPENSATION:
Salary range in this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon the experiences and fixed as per the HR policies of the organization.
