Position: Communications & Outreach Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Outreach Associate will engage in expanding Outline India’s Communications vertical’s reach. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with a growing social enterprise.

The principal duties of an Outreach Associate will include:

• Analyzing latest trends in communication to support the communications team to develop a cohesive outreach strategy.
• Handling social media posts and supporting the Manager with content creation
• Drafting media articles, research pieces, and blog posts.
• Coordinating with the Business Development team for developing outreach material.
• Attending conferences, meetings, events, and expanding our network.
• Assisting the team in writing concept notes and project proposals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in media relations, journalism, communications, or social sciences.
• Experience of 2-3 years in this field.
• Experience in content development, ability to develop innovative and creative communication strategies
• Experience in social media management
• Knowledge of and experience in handling web-based management systems; editing software such as Canva, Pitch, Figma.
• Proficiency in presenting, writing, and editing.
• Ability to work flexibly and on tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communications skills
• Comfortable using all social media platforms.
