Job Role:
To ensure that IGSSS staff and networks have the required capacities to effectively implement the
urban project of Satat Shehar/ Sustainable Cities by planning and organizing training and capacitybuilding programs.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Capacitating IGSSS state teams for ToT on urban issues under Satat Shehar/ sustainable
cities perspective. ·
2. Developing modules for projects and training IGSSS teams ·
3. Module, program development, executing, and monitoring on the implementation of the
proposed action in all intervention cities of satat shehar/ sustainable cities project.
4. Ensuring quality training and practices in all implementation areas and documentation of the
activities ·
5. Identify areas and implement programs for capacity and perspective building of staff for the
better implementation of the program ·
6. Develop possible linkages with other potential technical resource
agencies/groups/individuals to complement the interventions and expand the benefits to
the target group.

Qualifications:
1. Post Graduate degree in the relevant field of urban issues, development studies,
environmental sciences, or social work.
2. Have a good understanding of the urban poverty issues and a strong background in working
with urban poor communities.
3. At least two-three year of prior professional experience in a similar post.
4. Trainer certification is added advantage.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Should have prior experience in designing training modules and activities.
7. Proven ability to develop and implement a capacity building plan.
8. Ability to work for long hours, travel with demanding timelines.
9. Proven experience in conducting training with local or community-based organizations.
10. Languages: English and Hindi mandatory (spoken and written).
11. Ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity, coordination, and transparency.
12. Strong ability to remain flexible and adapt to the capacities of communities.
13. Open for frequent traveling to the field and hands-on work with IGSSS staff on the ground,
and communities.
14. Technology Savvy and having good functional knowledge of Microsoft office, and other basic
computer literacy
15. Passionate about working and engaging with people and communities.
16. Committed to IGSSS vision, mission, and code of conduct.
Remuneration / Package / Benefits: Maximum limit Rs. 50,000/- per month CTO based on experience
and overall fit including PF as per law. In addition - range of benefits including medical insurance, ersonal accident insurance, and opportunities for further personal development.
