Position: Regional Program Manager
Organization: Magic Bus India Foundation
Location: Maharashtra
- Work with RLH to Plan and lead effective & efficient management of CWW & URP programs across the region
- Responsible for timely & complete achievement of all key project deliverables like Household & Beneficiary studies, Community & Employer network building, Enrolments, Placements, and Retention in Jobs
- Plan and lead company expansion through market assessment activities in the region to keep tab on Labor market information and devise & propose strategies for effective alignment of existing programs, and design & propose new programs
- Plan and lead project location identification, and set up activities within the agreed timeline & agreed standards
- Work with RLH to develop effective Monitoring & Evaluation tools for regular health check of the projects and do appropriate course-corrections
- Lead and participate in the Mobilization and Outreach activities
- Lead and participate in the Placement and Employer-connect activities
- Mentor and Coach all CWW & URP Project Staff in the region for high performance and complete alignment with policies & procedures
- Be accountable and responsible for complete implementation, adherence and achievement of the focussed Projects Hygiene & Governance Indicators
- Be accountable and responsible for complete accuracy and validity of the MIS and Data reporting of the region
- Lead the expected reporting activities of the region in the form of mandatory periodic reports creation and sharing
- Liaise and extend support to all local frontline stakeholders like Funders and other Agencies
- Liaise and extend support to all internal stakeholders like Livelihoods division team, sustainability team and other departments & functions
- Plan and lead special initiatives & projects as assigned & delegated for the region
- Continuously innovate for better delivery, better project, better staff and better offering
Essentials
- Understanding of the Skill ecosystem in India including knowledge about NSDC-driven skill ecosystem, DGT-driven skill ecosystem and Industry-driven skill ecosystem
- Labor market information including industrial clusters, prevailing wages, work hours, skill requirements, and employment possibilities
- In-depth knowledge of all components of an Employability Training project like Mobilization, Youth screening & profiling, Counselling, Skill Training, Placement & post-Placement, and MIS & Reporting
- An understanding of the business economy and its changing dynamics w.r.t. new jobs, new competency requirements, jobs becoming redundant, new sectors, etc.
- Knowledge of various employment exchange models (digital, hybrid and offline) for better understanding and alignment of Magic Bus programmes’ practices & standards
Skills
- Excellent project management skills which include devise and use project/account plans, budgets, monitoring & evaluation, and other financial information
- Excellent Staffing and People Management skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, (including the preparation of MIS, Reports and Communication material)
- Highly Tech-savvy

Experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of total work experience within which minimum 05 years in an Placements & Employment connect Leadership role in the Skilling/ Staffing industry
- Post-graduation in Management/MSW/Social Science
- Experience of managing a portfolio of activities in a target-driven environment
- Experience in Market scan and Employer relationship building activities
- Experience of managing internal relationships within multi-disciplinary teams
Willing to travel extensively within the region
