Essential Qualifications and Experience:
M.Sc. in Bio-sciences (Botany / Zoology / Bio-technology) or Post graduate diploma in Sericulture (Non-mulberry) trained persons with at least 6 months working experience in sericulture for the engagements.
Desirable Qualifications:
Prior experience in Tasar based Livelihood promotion, will be given preference.
Project period: Two year (Upto March 2023).
Age limit: The minimum age under Young Professional category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years on 1st June, 2021.
The total positions for Young Professional-II (YP-II) are 5. Two positions of YP-II, each for Godda and Dumka districts of Jharkhand Whereas for Pakur district one position of YP-II. Therefore, please Send your CV at the following email address by 15th of August 2021 with subject “CV for YP-II”.

Selection Procedure:
1. The applications received shall be screened and shortlisted candidates will be called to undergo a panel interview. If needed, a written examination may also be conducted for shortlisting of eligible candidates.
2. The applications received shall be screened and shortlisted based on their qualifying academic performance as per an assessment criterion. In case of large response, a written examination shall also be conducted for short-listing of eligible candidates. The shortlisted candidates will be selected through the process of interview. All the process will be conducted online through zoom app.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Initial engagement of YP-II will be for one year which will be extendable for one more year (01 year at a time) subject to requirement of the services in the organization and satisfactory performance of the candidate. The engagement period is also subject to pre closure, fund release and other obligations associated.
2. PRADAN reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement. PRADAN also reserve the right for posting and placement of candidates.
3. Consolidated emoluments of Young Professional-II (YP-II) will be Rs.35, 000/- per month respectively. No other Allowance will be payable.
4. The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting payment of monthly salary.
5. Attendance and working hours/days: The working hours will be same as regular employees of PRADAN. No extra benefit will be allowed for working beyond office hours. Unauthorized absence from the project/work for a continuous period of 07 days without valid reasons shall lead to automatic termination of the engagement.
6. Leave entitlement: The YP-II in PRADAN are eligible for 08 days leave in a calendar year on pro- rata basis and 02 restricted holidays as per the rules of Govt. of India. Intervening weekly holidays or gazetted holidays during a spell of leaves should not be counted against the admissible leaves. The un-availed leaves will not be carried forward to next calendar year.
7. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature in PRADAN or CTR&TI and selected candidate will not be entitled for any claim tor regular appointment/absorption in PRADAN & CTR&TI in future.
8. Intellectual Property Rights: Intellectual Property created due to the work of Young Professional-II during his/her valid tenure in PRADAN and CTR&TI will be governed by the IPR guidelines.
9. No-Objection Certificate' and 'Experience Certificate' is required from the employer; in case the candidate is employed.
10. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
11. During the term of engagement the YP shall comply with the Standards of Conduct. Failure to comply with the same will become a ground for termination of the YP without notice.
12. Prohibition of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: The Young Professionals shall have to comply with the "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and as per PRADAN’s norms of the policy.
13. Any kind of paid or honorary, part-or-full-time employment or private practice even in honorary capacity is not permissible during the tenure of engagement.
14. This is a pre fund release selection process. The joining date will be intimated subject to release of funds from DBT.
15. One-month prior notice is mandatory for the both the parties in case of resignation/ separation
