Position: Specialist

Organization: Equalize Health

Location: Delhi

Responsibilities

Equalize Health plans to rapidly scale the reach and impact of its tele-mentoring program currently serving health care workers (doctors, nurses, biomedical engineers, et al.) in India and East Africa. You will monitor, measure and document the impact of individual tele-monitoring courses and the program as a whole by:

  • Working with the program manager to develop and update theories of change.

  • Creating and fully executing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning plans.

  • Working with subject matter experts to design tools to measure changes in knowledge, attitude, and practice.

  • Recruiting and supporting external researchers in third-party evaluation of program impact.

  • Networking and building credibility among sector partners (e.g., presenting at MetaECHO conference).

  • Managing, cleaning, analyzing, and organizing large amounts of program data.

  • Writing high-quality internal and external reports and articles for publication.

  • Developing and regularly updating internal program dashboards.

  • Contributing to other initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • At least three years experience creating and executing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning plans, including development of theories of change, evaluation design, instrument development, data collection and management, analysis, and report writing.

  • Experience evaluating training or education programs.

  • Experience implementing M&E plans in low- and middle-income countries, and taking a pragmatic and nimble approach to constraints and challenges that arise.

  • Experience in the health sector, and specifically in medical training interventions strongly preferred. 

  • Professional fluency in oral and written English. Spoken Hindi required, and other local language(s) is a plus.

  • Experience working with global teams preferred.

  • Willingness to work across different time zones.

  • Curiosity, objectivity, pragmatism, desire to learn, and ability to be both detail-oriented and see the big picture.
