Position: State Technical Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading to deliver project that span across the state, manage resources, schedules throughout the full project development life cycle. This also includes management of risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from planning, initiation and deployment of one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation system that will ensure tracking of project/ programme results at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact).
• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Manage all aspects of multiple activities to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
• Deliver the status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, and deployment management activities.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and report on project success criteria results, metrics.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, stakeholder relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
• Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
• Lead the on-going development of an M&E system and tools to enable all program teams to be able to collect, aggregate and support analysis of data seamlessly, in order to meet all relevant reporting requirements and to facilitate and inform program management and strategy
• Coordinate the review all survey reports prepared to ensure quality and accurate reporting
• Collate/ prepare regional reports related to internal reporting such as the quarterly and annual reports

Qualification and Experience:

• MBA/MPH/MHA/MSW from a reputed university or Higher-level qualification, preferably in nutrition, food technology or in other relevant field.
• At least 7-8 years of experience in planning, implementation and monitoring of women and child public health and nutrition programmes.
• Demonstrated 5 years plus in leading programs and budget management
• Expertise in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to converse in local language or Hindi will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with donor-funded projects and report writing
