Position: Research Associate

Location: Gujarat

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and implement research projects undertaken by the Research Team

- Write literature reviews using various sources of information, including Google Scholar, JStor, etc. - Travel to the field and lead/coordinate data collection; conduct surveys, FGDs, key informant interviews, others, as needed

- Ability to transcribe and analyze qualitative and quantitative data

- Assist other team members with various tasks, including data entry, data storage, field research, statistical analysis and presentation development

- Compile and present research reports to various stakeholders—internal and external

- Maintain timely records of research reports and other documents

- Draft related articles, press release, reports and presentations

- Arrange meetings, conferences and seminars, as required

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Educational and other qualifications

- Master’s degree in Economics or related field, or Undergraduate with at least 2 years of experience in a related field.

- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and analytical software such as SPSS, R, STATA or Python
