Eligibility:

We are looking for young individuals who are passionate about social justice and are looking to work with a young, dynamic and dedicated team. You must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

• No educational qualifications criteria;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; 

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;

• Extremely high attention to detail;

• Empathetic; 

• Ability to work under strict deadlines;

• Excellent IT skills, especially with design, photo-editing and video editing software;

• Advanced knowledge of design software and technologies (such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop);

• Exceptional creativity and innovation: should be able to interpret content and ideate in creative ways to represent the same in a well-illustrated and composed format;

• Excellent time management and organisational skills;

• Be a strong team player;

• Able to work from a lens of equity, intersectionality and social justice;

• Ability to think independently, push back and strategize effectively;

• Able to work independently and on their own time without supervision;

• Ability to adapt and learn quickly when new digital trends come up;

• Ability to accept and action feedback quickly. 

The key roles and responsibilities will include: 

1. Working on the organisation’s digital content strategy and finding new innovative ways to communicate details about work or issues we are working on;

2. Undertaking research on areas that the organisation works on to be able to create relevant content;

3. Writing the copy for all social media platforms;

4. Design content posts and advertisements for social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn). Create short videos for Instagram Reels or ads. 

5. Leading the management of the once in two months OFC newsletter;

6. Assisting the overall team on any additional tasks that may arise.

Salary:

The salary for the role will be communicated to all candidates who clear the first round to ensure that the process is fair. Please note that this is an entry level position and salaries will reflect that.
