Yakshi works with youth, children, women and artists from Adivasi and Bahujan
communities for social justice, food sovereignty, and buen vivir

We invite applications from bahujan women to anchor Yakshi’s Women’s programme.

Responsibilities for this post of Women’s Programme Coordinator include :

(i) capacity building to strengthen rural women's leadership

(ii) community participatory action research to identify the crisis that feeds back into popular
education processes

(iii) documentation and reporting

Work Area: Rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Applicants with previous (2+ years) experience working with rural women are encouraged to
apply. Telugu and English (spoken, reading and writing), computer and digital media skills
are essential. Applicants should have strong knowledge on women's rights and policy
frameworks.
