Applications are invited for the position of a Communications Officer to be located in our office in Delhi.
Requirements:
Post-Graduate/Graduate preferably with a degree in journalism or mass communication 5 to 6 years experience preferably in media/journalism/research, with two years experience in a senior role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple demands whilst maintaining an organised working environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Infographic Designing software.
• Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan & Develop the content for the website. www.ncpedp.org, which aims to be a one-stop shop on information related to disability.
• Provide support to other NCPEDP departments in the production of all communication / printing related matters.
• Coordinate with media and PR on all events/ developments including issuing press releases and organising press conferences • Daily monitoring of national media.
• Plan and develop the content for Disability News Information Service (DNIS), a fortnightly news service which is envisaged to work like a news agency.
• Manage regular social media updates – facebook, twitter, instagram and linkedin.
• All other related duties as and when required.
Applicants should be willing to travel and should be flexible and open to working all days depending on work exigencies. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
