Position: Incubation Manager

Responsibilities:

Scouting

• Design and execute marketing and outreach strategy Implement the outreach strategy to find potential entrepreneurs
• Work with various departments at UPES and Pearl to identify potential entrepreneurs Design and host events to increase outreach

Selection

• Ensure selection of high quality entrepreneurs by implementing all selection processes.
• Be responsible for and coordinate scheduling and conduct of selection panels including coordination with external panellist and the central scouting team

Support

• Ensure high quality support to selected entrepreneurs  coaching, mentoring , workshops and training events
• Set milestones in agreement with the entrepreneurs and track progress against them
• Organise  ongoing advisory support on key aspects of the business like strategic planning, financial planning, marketing, raising funding/investment ·  Provide personal coaching to the Entrepreneurs to help them realize their potential
• Connect entrepreneurs  with peers, talent, mentors and investors/funders as required
• Record entrepreneur information and progress in the CRM system

Knowledge management  

• Update the resource bank and toolkit for entrepreneurs which will include how to guides, examples of best practice and case studies
• Ensure constant generation of content including entrepreneur stories, staff experiences, case studies, videos that can be put up on various social media sites

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• At least 3-5 years’ experience of working in a corporate, start-up or incubator
• Past experience of working with  entrepreneurs or investment and/or working with consultancy firm is preferred.
• Strong experience of business, financial planning and financial modelling
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. strongly preferred
• Previous association or familiarity with the start-up, incubation landscape in preferred
