Key duties and responsibilities:
Stakeholder engagement & relationship management
· Identify and engage existing stakeholders and lead engagement with key government stakeholders and partners
· Represent the vision and voice of PRONTO International in line with the organization’s communication and advocacy strategy
· Establish and build relationships with organizations including foundations, state and Central government, public health nursing institutions, and non-profit, and private sector organizations to collaborate and facilitate stakeholder inputs to the proposed learning platform
· Convene stakeholder meetings in-person or virtually to exchange ideas and solicit input on learning platform
· Strategically communicate with partners and organizations – including, foundations, governments, and private sector entities as needed
· Synthesize stakeholder and partner perspectives and communicate and goals to the team
Program Management and Communications
· Proactively identify bottlenecks and challenges and analyze areas of risk and advise project team on solutions and preventative measures related to our goals and the technical area of the project
· Draft key documents, reports, presentations, and other communications materials for a variety of purposes and audiences, summarizing developments and recommendations for program areas and external partners
· Contribute to developing compelling stories summarizing our work for a variety of audiences and seek opportunities to disseminate knowledge, key learnings, and products developed by PRONTO
Program Scoping and Design
· Collaborate internally with the team, participate in the scope and design of programs/solutions that will be components of the learning platform.
· Participate in the comprehensive design process to develop programs and metrics that are in line with PRONTO International and partner’s strategy
· Develop long lasting relationships to meet PRONTO goals, and contribute to business development to expand our programs
· Undertake other duties as requested by the leadership
Qualifications:
MBBS/MPH and/or a minimum of 10 years of field experience managing RMNCH activities at a state-level or central level. Ex-bureaucrats with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication (written, verbal and visual presentation) skills
Ability to think strategically, handle ambiguity, and problem solve in a fast-paced, limited-structure, multicultural environment
Excellent stakeholder management skills including proven track record of building relationships and working in a challenging multi-stakeholder environment
Experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications in Government sector/senior position level in private sector
Experience designing and scoping new programs, initiatives, and partnerships
Ability to conduct and facilitate collaborative workshops among public and private health providers/ stakeholders
Willingness to travel at short notice
