Position: Agriculture Manager

Organization: SEWA Cooperative Federation

Location: Gujarat

Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in a similar field

Qualification: Bachelor or Masters in Agriculture (soil science/agronomy/plant pathology/plant breeding/entomology) from a reputed university

Skills:

● Fluent in Gujarati.

● Willing to travel

● Knowledge of management and finance

● Ability to write reports, prepare presentations

Responsibilities:

● Evaluation of Tapi and Kheda cooperatives

● Assessing the needs of the cooperatives, in consultation with our aagewans

● Creating a business plan for the cooperative; leading and monitoring its implementation

● Identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders, including agricultural and business experts ● Management of sales and marketing team - setting and achieving sales targets with team

● Monitoring the program, finance and accounts

● Setting up and maintaining sales systems, forwards and backwards linkages with marketing and sales

● Any other task related to SEWA Federation’s work in agriculture and allied activities.

Salary: As per industry norms.
