Key Responsibilities:

● Take a lead on the research of new funding opportunities with an emphasis on donor organizations including CSRs, Corporates, Trusts, Foundations, Institutional Donors and HNIs

● Write and co-ordinate the submission of funding applications to the donor organizations in collaboration with the team

● Lead on the account management of partnerships with donor organizations by ensuring regular contact, updates and reports

● Prepare compelling high quality funding proposals that are strategically relevant and attractive to new and existing donor organizations

● Develop and maintain excellent relationships with a portfolio of donor organizations, providing personal stewardship through meetings, regular communications and high quality reporting

● Manage the pipeline of all funding applications ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met

Requirement:

● At least 3 years of experience in fundraising and partnership management with donor organizations including CSRs, Corporates, Institutional Donors, Trusts, Foundations and HNIs

● A proven track record in writing successful high value fundraising proposals and budgets that secure funding from donor organizations

● A thorough understanding of best practices in applying to donor organizations

● Excellent project management and coordination skills

● Ability to write well-researched, compelling and convincing, creative and tailored applications for donor organizations

● Previous budget preparation experience is highly preferred

● Staff management experience is highly preferred

● Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including report writing in required

● Ability to work on your own initiative to deadlines and within a small, integrated team.

● Understanding of education issues and a passion and interest in education for the underprivileged

● Good diplomatic skills & cross-cultural sensitivity

● Ability to conduct webinars is an added advantage Working Details and Remuneration

● Remuneration will be competitive with Indian not-for-profit standards and commensurate to the candidates experience

● The incumbent can choose to work from home or out of the Lucknow office. Please note that having a fast and stable internet connection is required if working from home.
