Position: Research Coordinator

Organization: Sangath

Duration: 4 months; 80 days

Responsibilities

1. Lead a rapid review of global youth-led and youth-focused initiatives that use or promote self-disclosure as a strategy for prevention, management or treatment of youth anxiety and depression with a youth panel

a. Create and manage small working groups of 1-2 individuals each within the project’s Young People’s Advisory Group (YPAG) to prepare the review

b. Collate insights and feedback from YPAG sessions

c. Prepare a youth-led summary will integrate findings from different sources and document the theories of change, barriers and enablers

2. Provide research assistance to the senior project researchers in preparing a narrative synthesis

a. Support the preparation of a narrative synthesis that documents findings, strengths and limitations in the evidence related to self-disclosure for adolescents and youth

3. Lead the preparation of contents for an interactive map containing details of relevant projects across the globe. This is intended to serve as a resource for the public, researchers and youth organisations beyond the scope of this project.

a. Collate YPAG research from smaller working groups

b. Liaise with the project artist to prepare a final designed version of the world map

4. Support management of logistics for YPAG sessions and preparation of media outputs for the project

a. Coordinate scheduling and recording of virtual YPAG meetings

b. Coordinate obtaining timely feedback from YPAG members on project outputs

c. Coordinate organising of an audio podcast recording with YPAG members at the conclusion of the project

Eligibility

1. Postgraduate degree in Research/ Public Health/Psychology or Health related fields

2. At least 2 years’ experience in coordinating research projects

3. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, verbal and written Desirable Previous experience of coordinating and working with youth participants or working with youth mental health projects
