What you’ll do:

- Extensive on-field presence at the villages, Block level government offices, other relevant organizations, for facilitating setup of the Foundation’s women’s initiatives focused on financial self-reliance, health and awareness
- Identify and implement solutions for sustainable livelihoods for women’s collectives/ SHGs in line with local demand and skill inventory at village level
- Formulate new SHGs basis viability assessment and regularly be in the field to handhold and guide SHG members in their day-to-day tasks and long term approach till they become independent and self-sustaining
- Assess the on-ground activities of existing SHGs and identify areas for improvement by enhancing output and reducing waste (effort, material, time)
- Assess village requirements and level of skills and identify cost effective avenues to upskill target groups / beneficiaries with relevant skills to generate employment and enable entrepreneurship
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure results including but not limited to timely release of POs, timely delivery of raw materials, installation of machines, training of SHG
- Carry out extensive research about other NGOs and recommend replicable best practices in line with RGF’s scope and approach
- Monitor and review SHG operations at grassroot level to improve the efficiency and efficacy of SHGs’ business models, operations, and output
- Identify Government programs, district administration budgets that will help scale our solutions
- Extend support to put together proposals, budgets etc. as needed on ad hoc basis
- Recommend and implement measures to implement standardization across various categories of SHGs and refine the SOP to make it easily replicable and scalable

Who we’re looking for:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in related field like Social Welfare (preferred) with at least 3 years of experience
- Understands the culture and systems of Punjab well to provide contextualized programs
- Strong experience of working in rural India focused on developmental work, preferably women’s initiatives
- Good management and coordination skills, with experience in implementation of development programs at state or district level
- Successful track record of designing, developing and/or supporting implementation of financial inclusion initiatives in rural areas, including NRLM/SRLM programs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; and ability to work with remote teams
- Excellent communications and documentation (MS Word, Excel) skills in English and strong command over Punjabi or Hindi; should have eye for detail
- Demonstrated ability to execute and successfully achieve objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
- Proven collaborative, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Skilled in building trusted relationships and effective in removing barriers to success
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn, and a highly motivated self-starter
- Able to effectively communicate with varying sets of internal and external stakeholders to create mutual wins
- Able and ready to commute and/or stay in villages
