Purpose of the Position:

PRADAN and Transform Rural India Foundation (TRIF) have been provided a three-year project by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to support the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) under the Ministry of Rural Development, in successfully implementing the Model Cluster Level Federation (CLF) program.

The Centre for Development of Community Collectives (CDCC), a separate dedicated entity, and part of the project, now requires to recruit a full-time Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The M&E Specialist shall be responsible for coordinating the overall M&E strategy for the project, including roll-out of the MIS system which is already in the process of being developed at the NRLM level, regular analysis of data to identify key learnings, and providing advice on project implementation.

Key Deliverables:

  1. Prepare different analytics based on existing data;
  2. Design and develop, need-based MIS and applications, as required, to track key outputs of the Model CLF program;
  3. Provide inputs to the development of integrated MIS application underway
  4. Support the piloting and roll-out of the integrated online NRLM MIS (once developed), across the states  
  5. Regularly share M&E findings with IBCB team in NMMU and for reporting to NRLM leadership including sharing of information on program implementation trends, highlighting areas requiring strengthening;
  6. Support the process of developing annual/ quarterly/ monthly implementation plans, and systems to regularly review progress against agreed milestones;
  7. Support and provide inputs for the development of project progress reports, in accordance with approved reporting formats. Ensure adequate data analysis is done in the reports to identify implementation trends;
  8. Carry out any other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be post-graduates in Management, or Social Sciences, or Statistics.

Experience:

  1. (1)  Minimum seven years of experience in handling large datasets, preferably in an M&E organization;
  2. (2)  Prior experience of working in projects or organizations related to rural development.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Good written and verbal skills in English;
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills;
  4. Willing to travel frequently 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is Rs. 12 lacs per annum. Compensation offered to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and past salary history.
