Position: Project Coordinator

Organization: Global Policy Research Foundation

Duration: 1 year fixed term (extendable)

Location: Bhubaneswar

About the role:

  • This role is for working on multiple projects – a policy decision-making research project with a behavioral lens, and an advocacy project with elected representatives at the state level.
  • The former will involve working closely with the state government to organize interviews/calls for primary research, document project progress, attend donor calls, and create reports/decks.
  • The latter will involve – with support from team members – coordinating with elected officials (MPs and MLAs), organizing online workshops and sessions, executing communication outputs, and project documentation.
  • The Project Coordinator will report to the Director and work closely with other senior associates.
  • The Project Coordinator will also manage client relations locally.

Competencies required:
 Good writing in English is non-negotiable, along with writing Odia
 Ideally 5 years of experience working on advocacy projects
 Experience working on multiple projects at a time
 Experience managing government relations with different departments/ministries
 Experience on coordinating with elected representatives (MLAs/MPs) is desirable
 Ability to lead on deliverables and work with the team
 Time management and self-discipline
