Smit.fit is an early stage digital health startup, developing a self-care solution designed to enable people living with (or at risk of) chronic lifestyle conditions (starting with diabetes, heart disease and hypertension) achieve mastery over their conditions and live life with a smile.

Qualification:

clinical consultant (MBBS/MD with 2 - 5 years experience) to drive their diabetes management product & program.

Key responsibilities:

The role of the Clinical Consultant is to define, build and constantly improve/innovate the core clinical ‘engine’ of the Smit.fit solution. This will be done in collaboration with Endocrinologists and Diabetes Educators. Post the design, the Consultant will need to convert this into requirements for the Tech and Product team to build out. The key goals and activities for this include:

• Design the comprehensive therapy plan and customer journey for different segment of customers (e.g., prediabetic, recently diagnosed T2DM etc.). In the process, comprehensive review and assessment of our patient selection, care protocol, engagement approach and methodology for different patient segments. The segments will need to be defined based on disease severity and duration, BMI, age etc.

• Develop training modules and content for upskilling our health navigators and also creating awareness for our customers.

• Work with our health coaches, external physicians to ensure that customers achieve their 30-60-90-day health goals; build a process and algorithms for creating scalability in our health coaching approaches.

• Manage the health navigation of some customers directly.

• Define and build a distinctive “health nudges” capability where Smit.fit can provide predictive nudges to customers to manage their condition: Hypoglycemia predictor, MCI risk, Diabetes comorbidities' e.g., retinopathy risk, neuropathy risk) etc.

• Develop content/ micro-content on topics of relevance for our customers so that these can be easily productized.

• Provide clear requirements from a clinical perspective to our tech team for new product features; validate product builds and value for users. For example, doctor dashboards

• Design and review the upcoming clinical impact studies to measure the impact of Smit.fit’s approach on participant outcomes.
