ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

1. Identify needs, conduct rigorous research and come up with bottom – up participatory design of suitable interventions which align with the vision of BHS
2. Work with field teams for pilot and dissemination of the above
3. Work towards adoption and integration of relevant innovations into the larger health system through partnership development, capabilities building and handholding, and advocacy of best practices
4. Work with various stakeholders – like public health system, administration, private healthcare service providers, communities and the team to aid in smooth functioning of existing interventions
5. Work closely with the leadership on organization development functions
6. Provide quality and responsive primary health care services in rural clinics

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

We are looking for a mid-career professional, with an MD in Community Medicine or Public Health. He/she should have a minimum of 5 years of experience of managing health services or initiatives for the marginalized communities. The candidate needs to be competent in English and Hindi, open to make Udaipur a base with frequent travel as part of the role.

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS:

BHS is a field based non-profit organisation and its salary scales are comparable to professional, field-based development agencies. Depending on their qualification and relevant experience, further conversations with selected candidates on remuneration will be made in interview round.
