Roles & Responsibilities:
Direct support to selected states as allocated, for implementation of Community Processes (CP) and Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) programme. Key functions include:
- Support states in implementing Community Processes (CP) interventions and Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) components as required at National and State Level.
- Support states in rolling out and implementation of all components of the Health and Wellness Centre teams through enabling translation of policy into programme, enabling adaption to varying contexts
- Provide hands on, field-based support at state and district levels for training, performance monitoring, and strengthening support structures for improving Primary Health Care Team at Health & Wellness centres and VHSNC / MAS.
- Assess and document state and district level innovations in CP/CPHC for scaling up.
- Undertake periodic field visits to states and districts to review programme implementation in the States, identify implementation challenges and support states in charting appropriate solutions
- Contribute in writing programme specific operational guidelines; technical and policy briefs, training material, reports, case studies, monitoring checklists/protocols etc.
- Support in undertaking operational research and impact assessments for improving design of CP and CPHC interventions.
- Undertake such other assignments, which may be assigned by from time to time by the Advisor/Community Processes
Qualification:
Essential:
Possess an MBBS / BDS / BAMS/BYMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS degree with either of the following Post graduate degree or diploma:
- Post Graduate Degree in Public Health
- Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health
- Post Graduate Degree in Epidemiology
- Post Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology
Experience:
- Have at least one year of post-qualification experience in implementation of health programmes, including community health at scale
- Experience in direct implementation of health service delivery programmes through government, NGOs or Regional Resource Centres
- Experience in one or all of the following: documentation, data analysis, and training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- To be able to meet stringent guidelines at short notices and operate in an evolving environment
- Willingness to travel to states & districts to collect technical information and ability to subsequently synthesize information into research evidence.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Hindi / other major regional language
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated experience in working with NGO led Primary Health Care/Community Health Worker programs/state level public health programmes.

Remuneration Range:
Between Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month
