Expertise:
Candidate must have interest and expertise in one or more of these research areas:
- International finance (e.g. global capital markets, cross-border capital flows, financial regulations)
- International trade policy (e.g. global supply chains, trading patterns, multilateral trading rules)
- International business (e.g. trends in globalization, business supply chains, multinational enterprises)
- International monetary system (e.g. currency internationalization, monetary policy, sovereign debt)
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Support senior experts with research on geoeconomics issues including conducting field work, reporting, data aggregation, and convening.
- Write research papers, reports, commentaries; support podcasts and vlogs.
- Lead organisation-wide research on geoeconomics issues including planning, budgeting, coordinating
- Attend and represent the institution at conferences, roundtables, and webinars
Preferred Qualifications:
- Indian nationality preferred.
- Masters in International Economics, International Finance or International Business (0r in degree in public policy, economics, finance and business with a strong international focus)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent research, quantitative, reporting and writing skills.
- Strong interest and passion for international relations, foreign policy, public policy.
- Enthusiastic and creative team player with ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
