Grants Management Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Grant Management Officer holds critical grant management deliverables and essential to maintaining and building funder relations. Each project comes with its own reporting requirements, monitoring frameworks and funder needs. The position will ensure that all deliverables across projects are being met and provides timely information and support for greater collaboration between teams and with funders. 

 

Data & Reporting:

  • Holding the donor reporting timelines and working with internal teams to ensure a quality report is submitted to the donors.
  • Ensuring the right data is flowing through the internal system and in external reports.
  • Ensure funder reports are of good quality, represent the insights from the programs, completed on time with internal reviews, and sent out to funders in appropriate formats or uploaded on the correct portals as the case may be. 
  • Coordinating with different owners of data across the organization including the impact team and state teams.

 

Project Review and Insights:

  • Working with internal teams to understand the deliverables of each project, reviewing them on a regular frequency
  • Building insights/ patterns/trends from the project reviews and making changes to the process as needed
  • Collating best practices/ innovations from the projects and sharing with internal and external stakeholders

 

Others:

  • Share information, reports or updates as and when requested from funders and related parties and servicing those requests in tight timelines with coordination from the program team
  • Support the team in timely updation of the project management dashboard which is currently hosted on Monday.com. This will include data collection and coordination with the program teams.

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Well versed in documentation - reading and writing report
  • Experience in writing donor reports will be an advantage.
  • Fair understanding of Excel 
  • Logical thinker, ability to connect the dots
  • Project execution experience 
  • High degree of digital literacy with strong competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive Suite
  • Willingness to travel to field locations, if needed, post COVID
  • An interest to look for newer ways of capturing learnings 
  • Comfortable working in situations with tight timelines or dealing with ad-hoc requests
