YouWeCan Foundation is a non-profit organisation established by cricketer and cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh, registered under the Bombay Trust Act, 1965. Our Mission is to empower all people to fight cancer, through awareness, early detection, patient support and survivor empowerment. We conduct cancer screening and awareness camps in multiple locations across the country. We also provide financial support for the cancer treatment of children from underprivileged backgrounds through our empanelled hospitals pan India. Through our initiatives, we ensure that opportunities to detect and fight cancer are equal for all – no matter who you are, your level of education, level of income or where you live in our country.
We are on an ambitious mission to screen 1,00,000 women in Goa for Cancer over the next two years.
We are looking for District Coordinators with experience in large scale program operations. The District Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the screening program in their district. You should be a leader, well organized, proactive, and have the ability to interact professionally with multiple stakeholders.
To be successful as a District Coordinator at YouWeCan Foundation, you must be able to lead a team, multi-task and have emotionally intelligent conversations.
Location: Goa
Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) with experience of working in public health
Master of Social Work, Public Health, Hospital Administration or any other equivalent qualification with experience in Health Programs
2-3 years of relevant experience
Excellent professional communication skills
Ability to communicate professionally in English, Hindi and Konkani
Demonstrate high EQ, integrity and resourcefulness
Be a good leader and team player
Age: Not more than 35 years old
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer operations
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management & Coordination of the screening program in the district
Responsible for program implementation at 10 PHC/CHCs
Ensuring smooth implementation of the screenings
Ensuring weekly and monthly scan targets are achieved in the district
Daily reporting to Project Manager
Community Mobilization for cancer screening
Maintaining good relationships with local leaders and CHC/PHC Staff
