About Consult for Humanity:
Consult for Humanity is an initiative aimed at providing pro-bono consulting support to organizations in the development sector. Our mission is to build a sustainable and inclusive society by helping our clients create change through their social work. We do this by utilizing the experiences of our hand-picked team of volunteers who will provide their expertise to help organisations create impact.
About the Team:
We are currently a team of six core team members from diverse backgrounds who are led by:
Meesha Gandhi: Meesha Gandhi is a business management graduate and has also completed the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University. She has worked as a development consultant with the Government of Gujarat, as a part of the International Innovation Corps Program, managed by the University of Chicago. She has formerly worked as a Founding team member of X Billion Tech Lab, a social enterprise that focused on disseminating socially-relevant content to rural India.
Sharmi Sheth: Sharmi holds a Masters degree from London Business School & a Bachelor's degree from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics. She is a strategy consultant who has experience across Education, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Tourism, Metals and Financial Services sectors in India and UK.
Job Description:
● Oversee strategic initiatives from development to the successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads
● Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
● Assisting the team on end to end functions and ad-hoc projects
● Preparation of industry/sector analysis and mapping
● Assisting the communications team on content and pitch decks
● Support management of strategic partnerships
Candidate Requirement:
● 0 - 3 years of post-qualification experience or a graduate student / recent graduate with experience as an intern for 2-9 months
● Excellent communication skills
● Should have access to a laptop / PC and high speed internet
● Efficient in using Microsoft Office & Google Sheets/ Docs
● Passionate about working in development and demonstrated interest in helping communities improve development outcomes
● Good primary and secondary research skills
