The Manager – Journal will be in charge of content publication, which includes the development, editing, management, quality control and implementation while coordinating with various professionals and several departments. The Manager – Journal will ensure that the journal creates powerful content that would assist in generating quality leads, extending brand influence, growing reader base and subscriber lists and increasing quality through indexing in reputed journal databases such as DOAJ, Google Scholar, Scopus etc. Manager – Journal will ensure that all published content maintain the “voice” and “stand” of the journal.

The Manager – Journal is expected to supervise and oversee the production of every issue, from issuing the Call for Papers to publication. They are also expected to edit all content before publication to ensure that written materials provide the most impact or visibility. This may involve copy editing, preparation of page layout, plagiarism check, ensuring adherence to the stylesheet and overall journal guidelines in a timely manner.

Qualification: 

• Masters in any Humanities and Social Sciences discipline  
• Certificate/Diploma in Editing and Publishing (optional)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace or G Suite knowledge; basic knowledge of internet and email marketing, including promotion through websites, emails, newsletters and other platforms.
• At least 2 years of experience in editing and publishing academic journals 

Location: Rashtram Campus, Sonipat, Haryana (50Km, 1.5hrs of travel from Delhi). Online mode is a secondary preference. 

Duration: Contract position for 6 months

Renumeration: ₹4.2 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience and skills)
