We are looking for exceptional candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to join as full-time members of our India-based team. Working with the Hearth Advisors will provide opportunities across multiple related development sectors in education, health and sustainability, which may enhance your existing skills, and develop new interests. The role will require you to work alongside experienced colleagues and external consultants and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. We are glad to look at fresh graduates or those with work experience.

Your work as a researcher/consultant with the Hearth Advisors will depend on the area you are working on and the client’s needs. Your general responsibilities will require you to:

• Participate in discussions with clients to understand the areas of development or improvement
• Conduct research, surveys and interviews to gain an understanding of the client’s work
• Analyse data, industry information and Hearth perspectives to define the problem concisely and hypothesise proposed solutions
• Assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies internally, using quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive the proposed solution
• Consolidate the findings from the analysis and present solutions to the client
• Develop and present a plan to implement the recommended changes
• Operationalise and implement agreed solutions and work plans with the client
• Support the business development activities of the Hearth such as prospect development, production of thought papers, and writing of proposals
• Assist curriculum development, training workshops and events run by the Hearth
• Support colleagues and the Hearth in projects, market-entry, and the provision of the organisation’s service areas.

The essential qualifications we look for are:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a leading institution
• 0-5 years of relevant work experience
• Well-developed core consulting skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
• Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
• Deep interest in or exposure to the core work areas of the organisation
• Authorisation to work in India
