It became the first and only Indian organisation to be honoured with the ‘UN Population Award 2020’ for its exemplary work in the field of ageing, recognition of the organisation’s outstanding contribution to population issues and efforts in the realisation of older persons rights in India. We have been awarded highest CRISIL VO1A grading for excellence in operations and high credibility.
We are now looking for suitable candidates for the position Project Manager. The position is based in Uttarakhand in district, Chamoli, Dehradun and Pauri. The position will report to Programme Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Planning and Coordination:
Project Implementation: Implement projects as designed in project proposal, selecting new interventions, and tailoring the approach to the local context.
Work plan development and monitoring: Create and manage a detailed work plan for the project, outlining activities, timelines, resources, and budgets.
Monitor progress and adapt: Regularly track progress against the work plan, identify any deviations or challenges, and adapt the approach as needed to ensure project objectives are met.
Stakeholder engagement: Facilitate communication and collaboration with various stakeholders
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Data collection and analysis: Implement a system for collecting and analyzing data on project activities, outcomes, and impact.
Reporting and communication: Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
Evaluation and learning: Collaborate with other stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and identify lessons learned for future iterations.
Key Technical Attributes:
Post Graduate in Rural Management/Social Work/ Agriculture
Experience of 3-5 working in livelihoods- Farm/Off Farm/Non-Farm preferable
Understanding of the Graduation Approach principles and log frame
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
