Position: Project Manager Ad for Nutrition Research Project

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage a research project to take place in Bihar.
The project titled “Effects of nutritional intervention on anemia and cognitive development among pre-school children: Field experiments in India.” analyzes the impact of micronutrient fortification on anemia and learning outcomes of pre-school children. The study is led by Dr. Santosh Kumar
(University of Notre Dame, USA), Dr. Sebastian Vollmer (University of Göttingen, Germany), and Dr. Anna David Thottappilly (IIT Kanpur, India).
The responsibilities of the job include:
1. Ensure data is collected and maintained accurately
2. Managing the project at the field level, which involves managing all associated works such as primary data collection, maintaining day-to-day log of activities on the field and off the field.
3. Travel extensively to coordinate the different activities that is happening associated with the project (travel expenses shall be met)
4. Coordinate between different stakeholders, including the PIs, local government organizations, and non-government organizations
5. Maintain detailed and accurate record of expenses
Eligibility
1. Proficiency in using Excel
2. Proficiency in English and Hindi, to be able to understand and draft documents in both languages
3. Undergraduate degree
4. Prior experience working with similar social science research is preferred
5. Knowledge of the local geography of Bihar is a plus too
