Position: Impact Supervisor

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                     

 Procurement and Impact

• Assist in identification of potential villages with good number of bean gatherers in and around cluster area.
• Conducting farmers mobilization camps in bean potential areas.
• Meeting with bean gatherers and VCP agents, Terviva Karanja Sakhi regularly in their locations and ensure high quality information flows between Village level to TerViva.
• Regular visit to the VCP/TKS locations for updating about bean collection quantity to Impact Lead.
• Assisting in measuring and verifying the physical stocks of bean in every VCP/TKS locations on regular basis.
• Coordination with VCP/TKS for maintaining quality parameters of beans before purchase.
• Monitor harvesting samples collected from bean gatherers/ suppliers/ processors against standards, report back on issues and monitor responses.
• Arranging different capacities of trucks as and when required for transferring beans from VCP/TKS godowns to local godown of TerViva.
• Arranging labours for handling of beans at VCP/TKS level and local godown level.

• Traceability from the coverage area to be ensured

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Mandatory Requirement

• 7 + Years of previous experience of community engagement and rural women.
• Bachelors in Social work/Masters  in Social Work
