Position: Chair Professor – Public Health Nutrition and Assistant Professor

Educational and other qualification required: The candidate must have earned doctoral degree  in a relevant field at the time of appointment with expertise in one or more of the following: nutrition and health disparities, nutrition and food security, nutrition and global health, nutrition and food choice, nutrition and sustainability, community nutrition, nutrition and population health, or MD in Community Medicine.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of work experience

 Job Profile: Develop and deliver MSc course in public health nutrition, as well as various short courses on topics of Public Health Nutrition. This individual will support graduate level curriculum in dietetics, nutrition, food sciences and food systems. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake an active program of research in topics related to public health nutrition that leads to publication and/or presentation in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets and to seek extramural funding for that research. Collaborate with institutions and contribute to departmental and university growth. Advocacy on Public Health Nutrition. Actively support CoE Nutrition and Project Tushti activities including in areas of data analytics, predictive modelling

Type of Appointment: Selected Candidate will be initially offered an appointment on “Fixed Term Contract” on “Consolidated Pay” for 2 years. This contract may be extended for a further period as required, after review of performance.
