Position: Block Project Facilitator (BPF)

Position Overview:

The Block Project Facilitator (BPF) will support in coordinating and implementing TB free panchayat initiative under National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) in 2-3 blocks of Lucknow district. The BPF will be responsible for rolling out the activities as per the project implementation plan.

A. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Health, NHM, and Panchayati Raj department and Gram Pradhan’s to ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions for PRI members.
• Facilitate inclusion of TB related activities in GPDP of all assigned panchayats.
• Support Gram Pradhan in organization of awareness and prevention measures within the Panchayat community.
• Support in planning and conducting community mobilization activities at GP level for TB free panchayats.
• Support Gram Pradhan in organizing quarterly Gram Sabha meeting and ensure data led discussions on indicators of TB free panchayat in the meeting.
• Identify and support PRIs in addressing the barriers to testing and treatment adherence.
• Compile and submit monthly progress reports on program performance to the District Project Facilitator as per timeline.
• Analyse data and identify gaps, trends, and areas for improvement in the project.
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

B. Qualification and competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, or social work.
• Three years’ experience of working in a health system strengthening project, preferably in Uttar Pradesh.
• Knowledge of PRI system and experience of working on tuberculosis will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with community health programs and grassroots-level implementation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community leaders, and community members.

C. Skills - Fluency in official language of the state is a prerequisite. English (Reading, Writing & Oratory Skills) is a plus. Report writing skills, computer skills, including MS Office program.

D. Salary and Benefits: Rs 26000/- per month plus Travel and Communication.
