Position: Acting Chief Executive Officer

Role & Responsibilities:

• To Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to drive the mission and objectives of Jaya Organic Yojana.
• Ensure effective implementation of training, mentoring, skilling, monitoring, hand holding and facilitating programs in various ecological, agricultural and entrepreneurial activities.
• Lead and support the team of field trainers and head office, fostering a positive work environment.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders to enhance the impact of JOY's initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement robust systems to assess program effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Serve as the spokesperson for JOY.
• Analyse reports on program activities and financial performance and take necessary actions.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the sustainability of JOY's initiatives.

Terms & Conditions:

• A master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership in program management, preferably in sustainable agriculture and rural development, with a focus on marginalized communities.
• Ability to develop long-term strategies and plans, ensuring holistic and sustainable approaches.
• Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and overcome challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to field locations as required.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
