Job Description for Tech4Good Fellow:
Responsibilities:
• Deploy, manage, and sustain customised solutions built over Frappe for the NGO (basis the use cases)
• Coordinate with system integrators. • Oversee software implementation in the field.
• Create user guides, training materials, and FAQs
• Conduct training sessions for users.
• Support the field rollout of applications.
• Provide Level 1 support for field issues.
• Document bugs and suggest enhancements.
• Coordinate with tech partners for bug resolution.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare monthly insights from platform data.
• Act as a Business Analyst and support the requirement-gathering process through client calls and assist the EM and tech team during product development.
• Collaborate with multiple tracks during the product development phase.
Key Expectations from Tech4Good Fellow:
1. Technical Skills:
o Basic data proficiency in data analysis (Excel/Power BI, GDS etc) and data management
o Basic understanding of tech words like UI, Frontend, Backend, DBMS, Dashboards, Open source etc.
2. Project Management:
o Ability to handle tech operations
o Experience in task planning, execution, and tracking.
o Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
3. Social Impact:
o Passion for creating social impact through technology.
o Understanding of Dhwani's social issues.
o Ability to develop tech solutions for social issues.
4. Communication:
o Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Experience in creating technical documentation and reports.
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, computer science or related fields.
• Min 1 year of experience in consulting, tech delivery, data management, or software development.
Stipend/Salary:
• The Fellow will receive a stipend/salary ranging from 6-8 lakh per annum based on experience.
Job Location:
• The first 3 months include in-office training on Frappe ERPNext at Dhwani's Gurugram office.
• After training, the Fellow will be placed in a nonprofit organization (part of APF’s portfolio) in India, in only ding tier 1 and tier 2 cities, based on the NGO's location and needs. Flexibility in location is required while applying for the fellowship.
