Position: Program Officer- Education

Lady Bamford Charitable Trust (LBCT) is a CSR arm of JCB India Limited. LBCT has been working towards creating a better quality of life for vulnerable communities and provides comprehensive support for Education, certified employable skills and income enhancement.
LBCT seeks to hire Program officer- Education at Halol, Gujarat location to ensure high quality execution of our programs.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Ensure Effective implementation all the education programs at location.
2. Stakeholder Relationship, with Govt. officials and schoolteachers,
community and other stakeholders.
3. Provide a key co-ordination and implementation role, ensuring project
management standards are followed and deadlines met.
4. Education Team building and Management through roll modeling capacity
building
5. Regular and on-demand School & community visits
6. Innovation in program execution
7. Learning level assessment (baseline, midline and endline for various
programs) in all LBCT supported Government schools
8. Coordination with other team members.
9. Prepare and timely submission of weekly reports, MIS reports,
compilation of case study as required by HO after being vetted by the
State Head
10. Ensuring that all data is maintained and updated at the location level.
11. Organize and facilitate various training and workshops related to
program.
12. Updating MIS on monthly basis.

Qualifications

• MBA in Rural management/ MSW or master in relevant field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in development sector

Other Skills
• Sound understanding of education problems and possible solutions
• Good understanding of Budgetary system.
• Attitude to work in an efficient manner.
• Good command over Gujarati, Hindi, and English languages
• Should be a team leader
• Functional IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet)

Working conditions

LBCT implements program in the villages near Halol, with underprivileged communities. Candidate need to work with team and motivate them to work efficiently.
