Position: Senior Coordinator

Youthreach is looking for a

• Development professional with at least 5 years of work experience in the area of Livelihoods, Education, Vocational Training Management, Sanitation, working with Women Empowerment Programmes, Skill Development, SHGs, and other field-based interventions.
• The person should have a minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work/Sociology, Development Studies, Public Policy, NGO Studies, Political Science. Candidate who is a master in Social Work will have an added advantage.
• The person should have excellent command over MS-Office, Excel and Power-Point.
• The person should be open to travelling on a regular basis.
• The person should be fluent in English and Hindi.
• The person will work out of Roorkee, Uttarakhand and report to Youthreach head office in New Delhi.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for initiating and managing education, health, sanitation, women empowerment and skill development programme in villages around Roorkee.
• The Manager will closely monitor the work of the field staff/ teachers and project coordinator who will be implementing the project.
• The coordinator will be in charge of documenting project progress and reporting to the Senior Manager.
• Monitoring and evaluation of ongoing or new projects.
• The candidate will develop and implement appropriate strategies /systems/plans for the project as per the agreed project framework.
• Networking and liaison with State and District Government Officials, resource organizations and individuals etc. Co-ordination with and reporting to funding agencies.
• Writing proposals and following up with corporates as and when required.
• Work in association with DISHA our implementing partner on women empowerment projects.
• Visit the field sites regularly and have project update meetings with field staff.
• Monitoring financial accounts of the projects and the field staff on a daily basis.

Salary

The salary would be between INR 35,000 – 40,000 and would depend on the qualification and experience of the applicant.
