Position: Program Manager – Affordable Private Schools

About the Role
At KEF, we believe that play based learning activities conducted in a safe environment by a safe adult during early childhood are the best way to ensure long lasting mind and body development for a child. Towards this, we partner with affordable private schools to implement our School Readiness Program (SRP). As part of SRP we:
1. Provide age appropriate, play-based teaching-learning materials that ensure holistic development of the child
2. Build capacity of pre-primary teachers through intensive training and program support
3. Invest parents in the learning of the child through workshops and weekly support material
In this role, you will be the key lever in multiplying the impact of the SRP at the school level by ensuring that the school, teachers and parents engage effectively in the program. You will visit the schools to work with teachers, school leaders and parents to build their capacity through training and coaching. You will also need to use data effectively to inform decisions at the school level, communicate and provide feedback to the school and to the team at KEF.
Remuneration: Ranging between 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the program (SRP) Implementation in partner schools:
● Lead School Readiness Program in 10 to 15 schools across the city
● Visit partner schools periodically to support teachers through classroom observations and one-on one coaching
● Build teacher capacity by delivering training
● Empower parents by conducting parent engagement workshops
● Invest school management/leaders through periodic conversations
● Assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the program through effective data capturing and provide feedback to strengthen the program
● Assist with product development related to the program
● Use technology to manage program delivery
● Take initiative in exploring areas of work in Early Childhood Education to build your own capacity

Essential Knowledge and Skills
● Comfortable in communicating and building relationships with different stakeholders
● Excellent written and spoken communication in English & Kannada
● Knowledge of the education ecosystem
● Knowledge of spoken Hindi is preferred
Qualification and Experience
● Graduate degree
● Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the education sector preferably with at least 1-year experience working as a teacher
