Position: Coordinator, Skill Development Programme

Roles and responsibilities will include:
Programme Strategy and Project Management
●Monitoring, execution and reporting of existing Skill Development programme activities and projects across states for marginalized women
●Researching and identifying trends, shifting skill training and employment dynamics for women and young girls in India to apply in SEWA Bharat’s programme
●Creating and executing an organizational strategy for SEWA Bharat’s Skill Development programme, including new additions, analysis of on-going work etc
●Maintaining monthly reports and using this data to drive decision making Partner Relations and Fundraising
●Reporting and managing funder relationships for existing Skill Development projects across states
●Identifying, and developing new fundraising relationships in close collaboration with top leadership, and bringing in new funds/projects
●Designing monitoring metrics and outcome evaluation mechanisms to analyze impact, and preparing reports to funders Team Management and Growth
●Training key programme staff to maintain smaller funding relationships
● Collaborating closely with staff to identify and attract donors best suited to SEWA Bharat’s needs, values, and philosophy
●Guiding, monitoring and facilitating capacity building of Skill Development district teams This role will also involve overall management, development and strategizing of SEWA Bharat’s Skill Development Programme. We seek a big-picture thinker, ideally with management experience, with interest in growing this high-capacity vertical within a well-established organization.
Suggested Candidate Profile:
●5-8 years’ work experience, preferably in the Indian nonprofit/policy/development space
●Completion of undergraduate Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field of study
●A creative and flexible self-starter, skilled at handling multiple projects and tasks in an entrepreneurial environment
●Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner within a relatively mixed (grassroot + official
●Ability to take initiative and leadership even with minimal supervision
●Passion for bringing about real, sustainable, large-scale change for women in India’s most marginalized communities
●Willingness to travel to offices across India as required
●Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, in both English and HindiLocation Delhi, with regular travel Remuneration 8.4L to 10.8L per Annum
