Key Responsibilities / Deliverables
- To build, maintain and adapt the YUVAA MIS to respond to the needs of project stakeholders
- Liaise with project staff, partners, and the US-based team to obtain the most up-to-date and quality data, ensure data consistency in multiple systems, ensure data review and validation and continually update integrations between partner systems
- Design and provide orientation to and trainings on the MIS to Pathfinder staff and YUVAA stakeholders;
- Engage with India and global staff to update indicators and build out role-based reports and dashboard functionality
- Conduct analysis and visualization of data from YUVAA MIS to identify areas for improvement and targeted technical interventions
- Export data and perform non-routine simple and complex data analyses in collaboration with project staff to demonstrate project progress and impact
- Respond to ad hoc data requests from partners and donor
- Prepare dashboards and facilitate data review sessions during regular project performance review meetings
- Support development of presentations and publications documenting YUVAA’s successes, best practices and lessons learned
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation tools and systems to collect, aggregate, and interpret data from multiple sources
Key Job Outcomes:
- A comprehensive YUVAA MIS has been created and managed through close coordination with Pathfinder and Consortium technical Teams and the IT agency hired to develop the MIS platform
- Dashboards for different data sets are developed (program implementation and activity tracking , beneficiary tracking and usage, communications outreach to beneficiaries , FP uptake and continued use of FP and drop out )
- Data analytics and monitoring for decision making on project performance on key indicators
- Insights from analyzing data are offered to the program team, feedback is provided periodically to inform key strategic decisions
- Coordination with all consortium technical teams on MIS and datasets
- Data integrity and periodic quality checks

Minimally Required Job-Specific Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- Master’s degree required in public Health, including data management and analytics or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in health sector (preferably in the field of Family Planning and Reproductive Health) data systems, including database architecture, development and design
- At least 3 years of DHIS2 back-end system experience required (including development, maintenance, entry and use).
- Familiarity working with and connecting a variety of MIS platforms, including integrating and processing large datasets from multiple sources
- Experience developing and managing a role-based MIS system and role-specific dashboards required; use and facilitating learning from dashboards and MIS preferred.
- Familiarity working with a variety of data analysis packages such as SPSS and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) preferred; Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) required
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi; ability to present to varied audiences without technological background
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems
- Experience working with global teams in a multicultural environment
- Experience/familiarity with an I/NGO setting
- Experience in family planning and reproductive health, preferred
