Position: Senior Operations Associate

Roles and responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining salary sheets & must know how to calculate PF, ESI & TDS
- Oversee all aspects of general office coordination and administration. Coordinate with vendors, staff, and research team about logistics, and filings.
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time. Evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently.
- Create and raise client invoices.
- Process and track payments and expenditures.
- Keep track of the organization’s monthly expenditure.
- Keep track of all incoming payments, prepare invoices, maintain a payment tracker.
- Create Purchase Order.
- Handle petty cash.
- Handle all coordination with the bank and CA.
- Handle all bookings related to travel, accommodation, etc.
- Knowledge of booking flights, cabs, trains, and hotels.
- Dealing with vendors – cost negotiations.
- Regular follow-up with vendors, consultants, and field teams.
- Answering, screening, and forwarding any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Coordinate & complete all the work assigned by the operations team & the Director.
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, etc.
- Check, sort, and forward emails.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Keep updated records and files, monitor office expenses and costs.
- Perform other backend work required from time to time.
Qualification:
- Relevant educational background preferably someone with a degree in Business Development, MBA, or Marketing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS tools.
- Proficiency in English.
- Previous work experience in the development sector, national and international NGOs would be an advantage.
- Market knowledge.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Previous experience in Business Development/CSR foundations.
- Applicants from Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore would be preferred.
- A minimum experience of 4-5 years in the relevant sector is required.
