Position: Manager – Corporate Fundraising

Job Purpose
To be the key driver for Operation Eyesight India’s (OEI) corporate fundraising plan and significantly support the achievement of organisation’s mission to eliminate avoidable blindness.
The purpose of the position is to build meaningful relationships and raise restricted and unrestricted funds from local, national and multinational corporations and SME’s.
Key Accountabilities
- Formulate and implement the organisation’s strategy for mobilising resources from corporate, and
- Enhancing the organisation’s brand recognition with the new and renewed partnerships/stakeholders/media.

Organization
The position of Manager – Corporate Fundraising will report to Head – Resource Mobilization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Fundraising
- Develop fundraising strategy and plan collaboratively with Development and Advancement team
- Implement the fundraising plan to facilitate smooth execution of program plans
- Ensure achieving the corporate fundraising revenue targets in timely manner
- Extend support to other country teams in fundraising through Indian entities
Corporate Partnerships
- Build and qualify database of local, national and multinational corporations and SME’s India Corporates (CSR)
- Maintain corporate database in the system
- To explore and coordinate with country program teams to raise funds from corporate donors
- Manage all communications with acquired corporate donor in the well-defined process
- To plan and manage corporate fundraising events and suggest methods to improve the reach and impact
- To coordinate and participate in Donor Visits and Engagements
- Explore and establish Corporate Partnerships through different mechanisms like cause related marketing, employee giving etc.
- Explore and collaborate with corporate associations and platforms such as FICCI, CII, PHD Chambers etc.
Compliances
- Ensure adherence to statutory and CSR/donor reporting timelines
- Represent the organisation in various platforms as deemed appropriate
- Provide weekly update/plan to Head Resource Mobilization, Development and Advancement team on the progress of donor prospecting and solicitation
Working Conditions and Job Requirements
- Positioned in Hyderabad
- Frequent travel to donor locations and project locations
- Flexible working hours to accommodate head office working hours
- Act as an ambassador for OE in a variety of professional and social settings
Experience
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a competitive market environment with skills set to build new business relationships with potential clients/donors
- >2 years of middle management experience

Technical
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations
- Understands the local and national CSR funding/investment framework
- Corporate and key account management in the context of both profit & non-profit organisation
